The following describes the terms of service that apply to participation in the Applicant Referral Program currently offered by Salary Finance Inc (“Salary Finance”). If you wish to participate in the Applicant Referral Program described below, you agree to all of the terms and conditions listed below. The Applicant Referral Program is open to any consumer who: A) either i) is eligible to register for a Salary Finance account as an employee of a Salary Finance partner employer, or ii) previously registered for a Salary Finance account when employed by a Salary Finance partner employer; and B) who resides outside of the state of Vermont (the “Eligible Referrer(s)”).
Eligible Referrers are limited to refer friends, colleagues, family members, and other people (collectively, the “Eligible Applicant(s)”) they believe may be interested in applying for a loan* through Salary Finance (collectively, the “Eligible Application(s)”). Salary Finance reserves the right to determine eligibility for the Applicant Referral Program and disqualify anyone from participating in the Applicant Referral Program at any time. Anyone who violates these terms and conditions is ineligible for payment of any bonus under this referral program.
To receive credit for a referral under the Applicant Referral Program, Eligible Referrers must submit a referral through the Salary Finance “Refer a Friend” form; the Eligible Applicant must submit an Eligible Application within 30 days after Salary Finance’s receipt of the Eligible Applicant “Refer a Friend” form, and the Eligible Applicant must meet the following criteria: i) be employed by a Salary Finance partner employer, ii) have not previously applied for a loan through Salary Finance, iii) meet the eligibility requirements to apply for a loan through Salary Finance, iv) register or have previously registered for a Salary Finance account, and iv) not be a Vermont resident. If the Eligible Applicant applies within thirty days of Salary Finance receiving a Refer-a-Friend Form for that applicant, and meets all of the criteria above, Salary Finance shall provide (through a third party) the Eligible Referrer with a website link to obtain a gift card from certain retailers (the “Applicant Referral Bonus”). The Eligible Referrer will be responsible for following the provided instructions to provide information needed to redeem the applicable gift card. Once the redemption information is received, Salary Finance shall provide (through a third party) the Eligible Referrer with the gift card within thirty (30) days. Only one Applicant Referral Bonus will be awarded for each referred Eligible Applicant. If Salary Finance receives multiple Refer a Friend Forms for an Eligible Applicant, the Applicant Referral Bonus will be eligible to be awarded to the first Eligible Referrer to have referred the Eligible Applicant to Salary Finance.
An Eligible Referrer will not earn a Applicant Referral Bonus if the Eligible Applicant has previously applied for a loan through Salary Finance, or if the Eligible Applicant does not apply within thirty days of the Salary Finance’s receipt of the referral through the Refer a Friend form.
If the Eligible Applicant has or had a loan through Salary Finance, is on Salary Finance’s or the national email marketing opt-out list, or has already been referred by another Eligible Referrer, the Eligible Applicant will not be eligible to participate. Salary Finance cannot disclose to any potential referrers or Eligible Referrers any information about applications by or loans opened by Eligible Applicants referred. Participation in the Applicant Referral Program serves as a one-time limited waiver of privacy rights by both parties, whereby each of the Eligible Referrer and Eligible Applicant may become aware of the presence of an account relationship with Salary Finance. Salary Finance reserves the right to cancel or modify the terms of this referral program at any time with or without prior notice.
